ok so i just read lauras entry and i have to say that was a great one dealing with the reality of Drew's death.....

i was told on saturday(August13) by my gramma that one of my childhood friend's brother was killed in Iraq....His name was Chris Katzenberger and i was friends with his sister,Amanda...and his parents have been backyard neighbors with my grandparents for many years...as long as i can remember..they even attended my granpa's memorial service.....he was only 25....he was killed  by a roadside bomb about a week ago....my gramma told me that and that was all i could think of....

the image of him cutting the grass or walking down the street in his mcdonalds uniform popped into my head....and for the rest of the day thats all i could think of...I THOUGHT OF CHRIS...and at this moment i  visualize it all over again....i never really knew him well but i knew him well enough to have those special memories you have with people....they dont have to be much, just maybe a a short meeting or maybe a lifetime meeting....

so at this moment and for moments to come i wish the best for his family...

its been a couple days so i thought i should write....i should say its been a crazy couple of last days....

well i really didnt do anything friday.....saturday i went to the Anheiser-Busch brewery with Emily to take the tour..it was pretty cool...i didnt know that you could go on the tour if you were under 21...you just have to be 21 to get the free beer at the end......

that evening i went over to ellyand david's for a nice birthday dinner that they were nice enough to cook for me....hamburgers and potatoes....

here comes the interesting part.....emily had to throw a batchelorette(sp?) for her brothers fiance...we all met up at Tony's and someone had the bright idea to go to Boxers and Briefs....this would be the male strip club.... it was funny cause there was this tall guy there that everyone was saying had a nice body.....that he did....well i thought he looked familiar(cause we cant go anywhere without me knowing at least one person)....towards the end of the night he came to our table and i asked him if he goes to SIUE.....and what do you know he does.....i knew he looked familiar....

and thats the reason why you should be observant of others....and remember their faces....

ok well its almost 1 am and i am pretty tired cause i got didnt go to bed till 5 in the morning and then i worked all night(4-10) in dairy then in liqour..so i am going to sign my happy ass of this thing we all know as a computer and wish you all a good morning,day,evening, adn night....
